* The training for the part two test usually involves between 15 - 20 hours depending upon the driver’s ability. The instructional ability part of the qualifying exams is the most challenging aspect, and thus the DSA have set the MINIMUM number of hours as 40, before being allowed an attempt at this test.

The DSA offer a Trainee Licence to those PDI's who wish to gain practical teaching experience while preparing for your Part Three test. This licence is valid for six months. Certain terms and conditions apply, so please ask for details if you are interested in being sponsored by Heronswood Driving Tuition.

It is a good idea to already be studying for your theory test when commencing an intensive course.

It is a good idea to already be studying for your theory test when commencing an intensive course. For instance, there isn’t much point in completing a 35 hour course, and then finding you can’t take a practical test because you haven’t passed your theory test. You will then end up paying for more lessons.

Pre-course start cancellation terms:

  • Courses cancelled within 14 days of commencement - £250 deposit retained by driving school
  • Courses cancelled within 30 days of commencement, but with no more than 14 days notice - £130 of deposit retained by driving school
  • Courses cancelled with more more that 30 days notice, the pupil shall have the full deposit refunded
