* The training for the part two test usually involves between 15 - 20 hours depending upon the driver’s ability. The instructional ability part of the qualifying exams is the most challenging aspect, and thus the DSA have set the MINIMUM number of hours as 40, before being allowed an attempt at this test.

I regret that I am unable to grant you a Trainee licence after completing the first 40 hours. This is due to certain criteria laid down by the DSA. I apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. That said, it is still possible to pass without the need for a trainee licence provided that you are well prepared.

It is a good idea to already be studying for your theory test when commencing an intensive course.

It is a good idea to already be studying for your theory test when commencing an intensive course. For instance, there isn’t much point in completing a 35 hour course, and then finding you can’t take a practical test because you haven’t passed your theory test. You will then end up paying for more lessons.

These courses are ideal for pupils wishing to do a lot of hours in a short space of time. Price of the practical test** is included

* A deposit of £250 is payable two weeks prior to the commencement of an intensive course, with the balance falling due on the first day of the course. You will be given details of how the deposit can be made upon booking, but this will usually be collected by me in person or you will be asked to send me a cheque.

No post-dated cheques will be accepted. Should you send a post-dates cheque, or your cheque bounces, your cheque will be returned and you will be charged a fee. The course will also be cancelled.
